Τον Μάιο 1994, η εφημερίδα Καθημερινή δημοσίευεσε εκτεταμένο εικονογραφημένο άρθρο σχετικά με την ανασκαφή του μινωικού ιερού κορυφής στον Άγιο Γεώργιο Κυθήρων από το ζεύγος Γιάννη και Έφη Σακελλαράκη το 1992 και 1993. In May 1994, the newspaper Kathimerini published an extensive illustrated article on the very significant results of the 1992 and 1993 excavations of the Minoan peak Sanctuary at Agios Georgios Vouno in Kythera by Yannis and Efi Sakellaraki.
